@jayman666777 It's a United States Governement M14 issued to a Law Enforcement agency through the Georgia Emergency Management Agency program.

@Joe11Blue As a Firearms Instructor of over 20 years, I own my own shooting academy, I have yet to see an actual lexicon of official firearms terms that states specifically and unequivocally what a dump and a burst are. A burst to me is X number of rounds fired with a single pull of the trigger,...

@Donut117 When all the rounds fired HIT the target, then I would have to consider it a "burst", which is what happened in this case. If it was a general dumpex of rounds down range, then you might be able to call it a "spraying". In the case of the video I posted, this was an aimed "burst".

Failure to stop drills w/ a custom SOCOM-16
Probably don't need an FTA drill with a .308 at 5 yards, but it was fun anyways.
@charlestheman69 I went to LTM's website and looked at the Gallery III page, and that is indeed my SOCOM, the one I used in this video. Hah! I didn't know they had put it on their website. Purty cool.....

@rangerdanger222 Built it myself. It's the front half of a USGI fiberglass with the grip and folding assembly from a Beretta BM59. Forward mount is from Amega Ranges. I texture-coated it myself and had it painted by Lauer.

@bigwhitie19 The folding portion is off a Beretta BM59 Alpine stock and I can't find 'em anymore. It would be easy to do with any of a number of side-folding shotgun stocks on the market, and I did one recently using the collapsing buttstock from an HK91. That one turned out great.

@Tennessee0331 The proper title is Scout/Sniper, but I'm one of the older school 8541's, not an 0317. Don't know why every time I mention it someone has to question it. I own my own Firearms Training School, called Precision Applications, LLC, in N GA. Anyone here is welcome to come train with...

@jabolyn Douchebag if you'd have read further down, I was shooting so close because other shooters were on the line to my right. It would have been unsafe to get back further. I was not attempting toshow any certain technique, I was showing how controllable the SOCOM is. I was lowering the wea...

@solidfreak123 7.62x51mm is basically the metric designation of the .308 Winchester cartridge. 7.62mm converts to exactly 0.300".

@ShotgunKirk The only malfunction of any type I've ever had was when I replaced the USGI op rod spring with a David Tubb model. Choked about every 3rd round. Went back to the USGI spring and she runs like a champ. No problems with the extractor, either.

@Schone23666 It handles recoil just fine. Personally, I've never had to re-zero my sights, so that sounds like a fallacy.
