CMI, Cash Mattock Inc., was formed in late 2004 by Cash Mattock as a platform for his debut release. Cash Mattock has worked with nationally and internationally famous underground bands such as The Moviees in his nine years of involvement in the music industry. In that time frame he has established a wide variety of connections in music film and television. For the past five years CMI has been a full service independent record company that provided producing, publishing, management, booking, P.R. and global distribution. CMI partnered with Sonicbids offering signing opportunities and promotion packages to select bands for college, non-commercial and small market commercial radio across the globe. CMI still offers opportunities through Sonicbids but we are not focusing on signing new artists. We will sign new talent but with the changes in the economy and in the music industry we've had to lower our risk. We are only looking for that one-in-a-million opportunity so if you think you're it then we welcome you to send us your EPK (Electronic Press Kit) through Sonicbids. We have become leaner, more efficient and we have changed the way we provide our services. CMI now primarily offers consulting and management services for-hire with a focus on recording and production. We believe that our knowledge, experience and forward thinking bring something unique to the table. We also use the label to showcase anything we feel is worthwhile and our creative reach isn't limited to the typical scope of a "record label." We still celebrate and are proud of the work that we have done but, our experience has matured our view and now we see the global artistic experience in a different light. Now our mission is to constantly try to come up with new and original ways to bring our creative ideas to the public. We want to unify and expand the traditional business model so that everything works as a whole, which is what we believe is not only the future but, the only way the arts can succeed.
