Started work at 16 in 1975 and that was that until 2011. Early retired cooncil worker , semi-skilled in a way , after 30 years of public service. Away back in the mid-seventies , I crew aboard several ferries in Falmouth , Cornwall , a time I shall never forget. My interest in maritime comes from back then , as they say , once you've done it , it never leaves you!. The Railways come from my Dad , an-ex signalman in the 1960's , well who cannot have a Dad enjoying railways and taught you.
