crash was due to a modified aircraft with no testing done, they shaved off 10 ft from the wings and never gave it a proper test before the show. sad day.

Age was not a factor. The P-51 was very modified, and had 10ft recently cut from the wings. the fault of the crash was due to improper testing before the race.
