@dizzyfergy I grew up in Merseyside in the Thatcher years. Born in Birkenhead, son of a builder. Birkenhead is a dirty old town. I remember Liverpool before Albert dock was restored. This song is pure poetry. No one knows beauty till they've seen hardship. Amazing song.
