I can't help but be a huge fan of Peter Sellers. I think he was a genius as the bumbling moustached karate chopping idiot. Brilliant. You cannot beat the slapstick in the pink panther films thanks to Sellers/Edwards. Every scene with Cato and every scene with the lunatic dreyfus. I with many people think Steve Martin should never have cashed in on playing Clouseau because he does not do the part justice but I also have to blame bad writing and directing. These pp remakes are an embarassment to the series to say the least. There will only ever be one original bumbling moustached idiot and that is Peter Sellers as the incomparable Chief Inspector Jacques Clouseau. The case is solv-ed.

I am a big fan of Peter Sellers when he portrayed the bumbling moustached karate chopping idiot Chief Inspector Jacques Clouseau. I watched all of the pp films in the 70's and was hooked from then. Genius and sheer brilliance can describe Sellers. Believe it or not I have enjoyed all of the 70's PP films including: The Rtn of the PP, PP strikes again and Rev. of the PP and even Trail of the pp. No one can fill the genius shoes of Sellers as the bumbling detective.
Music:
I really enjoy 60s, 70's and 80's music but not rap or country. I like r and b and classic rock and contemporary.
