	clickx3 (1 year ago) Hi. You can do the remote shutdown -i followed by the IP or computer name. If you don't know the IP or name of the computer you can doownload a free IP scanner program like Angry IP Scanner from download.com. It will scan the entire network subnet for you. If the firewall is turned on and won't return a ping request, it still registers the MAC address so you will know that it's alive. Then you can shut it down remotely assuming you have admin rights to the computer, and the firewall has an exception for this rule.
