December 13, 2010. It's time for a new About Me! I've had the old one for a few years now with ZERO updates to anything. With my 20th birthday a week away and now 100 subscribers, I feel it's time to freshen up... Here we go!

Hello everybody! My name is Shawn Simonson. I started this account to share the music I write on piano. I soon after discovered vloggers and vlogging. I then began that. After that, I started realizing that I had videos my non-immediate family wanted to see. I'm also in a band. Have some videos of us up as well. Now I also have completely random videos going up as well as plans for other types of music soon. So I'm kind of getting back to my roots. This page exploded. Sorry for the confusion lol

I play multiple instruments. This list is ever-growing. And it's hard to decide what counts as "ability to play". I have the ability on many I just need a bit of practice. But I need practice with the best I can play still... So with that being said. I play piano (as I mentioned), synth, guitar, drums, bass, saxophone, harmonica, cello, trumpet, and I feel like I'm forgetting a few. I also sing and scream and growl. It's fun. I know want to pick up a ukulele and a glass harp,

As part of the change over the past few years, I no longer haven't had any lessons. I graduated from high school and started into college for music. Learned a ton of theory, which was beautiful. But also was required to take piano lessons. I just chose 3 piano classes... Go big or go home, right?

That's the basics of me. A mouthful, I know. But a much needed update, I think.
