Wow. I actually love his swing and am a big fan of taking the club head outside of the hands, but it's pretty amazing how broken down his left elbow is at impact. But - whatever - he's on the tour and I'm not!

With all due respect, I'm not sure how you can have that opinion.

Many great golfers (notably Els) have dead straight left arms going back.

But many don't. I'm not so sure I'd go up to Fred Couples and tell him his technique is bullshit.

I'm a little unclear on the slap release. How is this executed without significant breakdown of the left elbow (chicken wing) and possibly loss of a flat left wrist at impact as well? Would love to see a slow mo clip of an actual swing using this technique. Thanks!

I'm not really qualified to say, but looks pretty good to me. My only comment would be to hold your extensor pressure a bit longer through the impact zone. You're kind of giving up at the end of the follow through instead of holding that little finish.
