@jcrowley1985 Don't worry about it, it's all fine :). I didn't really disagree with you anyway, it's true, tv is basically becoming what radio is now as far as I'm concerned.

Disney Channel, if they stop being stubborn and accept the fact that people still watch these classics by 2014 (which is unlikely in such a short time), should air this promo song that year, except of course use a different bumper at the end that commemorates 80 years.

I remember back in 2009 when CN reran this show to death AT LEAST 6 times a day everyday, well most of the time anyway.

@9a3eedi From what I recall, this particular short wasn't in regular syndication on Cartoon Network as I was growing up. This short was only allowed to be broadcast on ToonHead's special 'Wartime Cartoons' episode, hence the toonheads bumper right near the end at 7:14.

Animation wise and sound wise, animated films changed A WHOLE LOT from 1977-1990, but not as much from 1990-today, in my opinion. I of course refer to the hand drawn films.

Thank god WB switched to digital colorization in the 90s. I mean, look at Daffy at 4:06-4:07, the animators here did a very bad job hiding him unlike the original. I can't help but laugh (and at the same time creeped out) by that part.

Even though this movie was FAR from good on its own rights, this song is very catchy and nostalgic.
