I am not a "lemming," "socialist," "marxist," "communists, " or "fascist," I AM a DEMOCRAT and DAMN PROUD OF IT!
Do I agree with or am I pleased with EVERYTHING and EVERYBODY that has to do with my party, no. I'm not a "lock stepper" like a majority of the "other" people on the other side of the aisle. At least I have BALLS enough to support the party I believe in AND call out the ones that step out of line--and quite frankly, represent the Democratic party poorly or are DINOs (Democrat In Name ONLY!)
As John F. Kennedy said "What do our opponents mean when they apply to us the label "Liberal?" If by "Liberal" they mean, as they want people to believe, someone who is soft in his policies abroad, who is against local government, and who is unconcerned with the taxpayer's dollar, then ... we are not that kind of "Liberal." But if by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal." People who call themselves "Independents" irrate me the most. In my opinion they are people who dabbling in politics when it suits them. They are political cowards that lack passion, committment or accountability.
And I'm not against ALL Republicans...just those that are arrogant lying, greedy, hypocritical, bible-beating, ignorant, judgemental, racist POS! And that my friends...eliminate just about all of them! LOL
Don't EVEN get me started with the Teabaggers!!! At the very least they represent the DRASTIC NEED to revisit our Educational System!!!!!
You don't have to agree with my opinion, BUT my opinion counts just as much as yours. And if it's you're desire to leave unproven or unsubstaniated claims or comments...here's my response--"KISS MY DEMOCRATIC ASS!!!!"
