This young innovative multitalented, singer/songwriter has been making her way onto the music scene grabbing and capturing the attention of everyone who comes in her path. With her irresistible vocal style and her hypnotizing melodies, this singer/ songwriter steals your heart and wraps you around her harmonizing vocals in just one stroke of the chords.

Clarisa Rose, a New York native born and raised in Laurelton, Queens knew at a very early age that music would be her calling. She wrote her first song at the age of nine. She later began taking piano lessons and joined the youth choir at her church setting the path to her musical career. "I love all genres of music". "I've been around music all my life". "It's like first nature to me".

Clarisa Roses' musical influences include Pattie Labelle, Aretha Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige and Beyonce.

Clarisa Roses' original Soul flavored R&B flow sprinkled with a hint of Hip-Hop is reminiscent of her musical influences. This sultry seductive balladeer recaptures that oldskool flava and whisks you back to the past with a classic like "Feel The Fire"; and into the present with her songs "Funny" and "In Deep".

Clarisa has written for Grammy nominated award winner Mary J.Blige. Clarisa has collaborated with T.Jamelle Jones of Big Drawz Music. A grammy nominated writing team with credits that run from Destiny's Child, Charlie Wilson, Emily King, 3LW, and Ja Rule just to name few. Clarisa has also worked with Universal recording artist Sean-Gemini.

A few highlights from her past performances include The 4th Annual Prestige Awards in Newburgh, NY honoring the remembrance of Dana "Aaliyah" Haughton, The Urban Network Summer Tour 2005 in Palm-Springs, Cali with R&B artist Sean-Gemini and her recent performance at the African American Expo.

Some of Clarisa's recent performances include the Essex County College Celebrity Basketball game. Where she performed for the Mayor of New Jersey. In attendance was Terrance and Rocsi of BET's 106 and Park, Theresa Witherspoon,Lil Kim, Dj Clue and Murphy Lee just to name a few. Clarisa has also performed at a Showtime title fight for the Peterson Brothers in Biloxi Miss. She has performed at many venues in and around NYC such as The Bowery Poetry Club, Soul Café and the Revival in Harlem. Clarisa recently performed at a Keep a Child Alive charity and fundraising event to help raise money and awareness for children with HIV. She has been interviewed by Protégé and Rap Fanatic magazines.
Clarisa is part of ElleMaj Music Group headed by Jamelle Jones.
