I'm a writer and sometime musician from Northeastern Pennsylvania. Being a lifelong record collector and a longtime fan of many of the turntable videos posted here, I wanted to share some of my own.
All videos created by simulataneously filming the record with a Canon mini-DV while recording the vinyl direct to my laptop via Audacity; both capture devices are started simultaneously. The two elements are combined in Adobe Premier.
Much respect goes to bridgebolt, who was the first to point camcorder to turntable. and to the record labels (especially Universal Musio and all of the independent labels) that see videos like these as free promotion.
Since other turntable videographers have gotten the same question: No, you can't have any free mp3's. If you like the music, please support the artists by buying their CDs or legal downloads. Musicians are not charities nor are they in the clothing and souvenir business.
