I really like her, her beam routines are so unique, and I love all the stuff she does where she changes direction. She has a very nice figure too, she's more shapely than alot of gymnasts, and in that way reminds me of Svetlana Boginskaya

wow, that was amazing! I was wondering, cause Carly Patterson is so strong on beam why she didn't win in EFs, but this girl was amazing! The commentator is right, those moves she doesn't really get more points for do set her apart from the other routines and make it more artistic

This is probably my fav beam routine of all time. Even though it's not a big tumbling pass, I just love her turn on the beam. Alot of times they wobble or over rotate, but she just does it so flawlessly and quickly

What is the hardest beam dismount of all time?

I like Lilia Podkapayeva's and the girl before her the best cause they are different. It seems like you see mostly vaults where they're layed out, I think they're called a Yurchenko or something. Is that the most common vault? Which vault is considered hardest?

This is a cool dismount, I like how it has a simplicity to it, yet probably alot has to go on to make this happen correctly. Didn't Nadia Comaneci do this dismount? @GAGALOVER347 really? Looking back on both their performances on all 4 events, I really don't understand what it was then that put Gutsu ahead. She seemed to have more bobbles and hops than Shannon Miller. Were any of her other events considered harder than Shannon's?

Always wondered if that kind of thing happens at these type of events. But when they do, and you get back up like she did, it just makes people love you more.

I love watching this girl. She is just so flawless and graceful and has the most beautiful lines. A travesty that she was robbed like that in the AA. She's amazing! you just don't see gymnasts like this nowadays

She is one of the best, well rounded gymnasts of all time I think. In 1988 Seoul, even on her so called weakest event (vault) she still medaled in the EF. How many gymnasts medal in all 4 EFs, and get gold 3 out of them. She's just so amazing! And great at dance as well, she just looks so natural...

This girl is so friggin amazing! She just doesn't seem to have a weak event. Alot of gymnasts now and over time seem to have their specialty one or two events, and one or two they aren't that great at, but not her, she got gold in 3 of the EFs, that's unbelieveable! Wish this girl won the AA, she just seems to be strong in everything! I LOVE the dance she does starting at 0:51! And she truly looks like she's doing it w/alot of joy and is having fun doing it and entertaining the audience. She's just so graceful and has such perfect form!

OMG, that has to be the toughest choice! They are both so amazing! They both are tall and thin and have long legs, and both great dancers. Have these girls ever competed at any of the same competitions? Cause I wouldn't want to be a judge at that, I could NEVER make up my mind!

This outfit was georgeous. She's the only figure skater I know of where you don't look at the outfit (excluding the scruchie, of course!) and are able to date the performance. Her outfits still look modern by today's standards.

Surprised she didn't get gold for EFs. I heard she fell in the prelims, but wonder if she hadn't if she would've won. I've never seen another woman do a gaylord! Always wondered if a woman could do that on UBs. And since it's possible, why more don't. That's my fav bars move!
