About this user

CITY FIDELIA, a Haitian hip hop artist, was born in Montreal. Although he lived there for only a few years, he was raised in Brooklyn and Ottawa where he currently resides. This young star first started writing at the age of 11, singing at first and then picked up rapping some time later. At a young age, his grandfather passed away, touching him and inspiring him to make something of himself. Not having the luxury of recording in a studio, Fidelia created the magic in his Centertown home. In time, he made it to the studio recording with A-Squad; a rap/hip hop group consisting of SG, Merkz, Noy, Dat Gemini, and himself. The group later split up continuing their music individually. Centertown's environment and fiend filled streets got his family to pack up and head for the city's East-End. He continued to work on his music, performing at various clubs, parties, events and at school; Glebe HS. In the summer of 2007, he finished recording a mixtape with Noy titled "Come Witness A Hustler's Dream". With hit songs "Forgive Me" and "The Devil's Knocking Me", the mixtape stirred the community and put him on the map. A year later, he has created "SelfMade The Movement" with artists Benz and Dat Gemini. 2009 is a brand new year as he recently join the Montreal-based label Lawless'O'muzik Records, own by Tyjeï Diezle and his other half partner Kasheem, in order to increase his chance to reach his goal. He's currently working on his street album "Fast Life" which should be release shortly. Meanwhile, he will appear on the Lawless'O'muzik mixtape "Le Pillage vol.1" alongside his movement "SelfMade" and his labelmates Kci'Nizzo and Black Rosary (AliFierce & Rocky Rawka). Working, as well as attending university full-time, City Fidelia will continue to impress, enlighten minds and create amazing music that people love.
