About this user

What I would say about myself is that I love to learn. I been a Martial Artist for the last 19 years teaching a art known as Cinfu Martial Arts. I have been learning since 1992 when I graduated from high school and enlisted into the military with over 15 years of service as a combat veteran and continued to serve with the Hawaii Army National Guard as an instructor for the Virtual Combat Simulator. During my years in the military I received my Associate of Applied Science in Criminology & Criminal Justice at Chaminade University of Honolulu in 2005. I continued with my education in receiving a Gender Studies Undergraduate Certificate at Chaminade University in 2006, my Bachelor of Science in Criminology & Criminal Justice at Chaminade University in 2007, and my Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration with Concentration in Homeland Security Leadership at Chaminade University in 2009. Today my education still continues in pursuing my Doctrine Degree in the field of Education in obtaining Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership at Argosy University in Honolulu. During my years of study, I got out of the military and joined the U.S Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, at the Federal Detention Center (FDC) Honolulu in 2006. As a Senior Officer, I have many responsibilities within the institution in training new and inexperienced correctional officers the approved techniques of custody and security, the CPR/AED Lead Instructor for all personnel, and the Affirmative Employment Recruiter for FDC, Honolulu. During my years with the Federal Bureau of Prisons I received numerous certifications and training from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), U.S. Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), National Institute of Corrections (NIC), and the American Corrections Associations (ACA) in obtaining the next level in my career. All and all if there is anything that you can learn from me it's that Never stop Learning and Growing in anything you Do.
