Major interests are film; cacti & succulents; reading(sci-fi, politics, history & social anthropology among other interests); film, music(My Bloody Valentine, Steve Albini groups, Jeff Mueller groups, Will Oldham groups, Stereolab, Sonic Youth, Master Waits: you get the drift if you know these genius artistes); and film. Directors I'd love to preserve in stasis: Andrei Tarchovsky, David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, Jean Pierre Jeunet, Scorsese, Peter Jackson, Lars von Trier, Mamoru Oshi, Hideo Nakata(Kaidan is brilliant!), Kurosawa, Tarantino/Rodriguez, Takashi Kitano, Darren Aronovsky, Wong Kar Wai, Michael Haneke, Park Chan-Wook - the list goes on and on.
