Cinemakramp is a patch-quilt of obsessive editing projects and one person clips - roughly-cut and loosly-stitched ... with digital love ---- I have a small collection of old film --- Standard 8, Super- 8 and 16mm Celluloid film ---- [subjects are newsreels, sports, travel, lost classics, other people's home movies, cartoons, erotica] ... purchased at trash and treasure, flea markets and garage sales ----- I respect copyright law and if there is a possible infringement I will remove the content immediately - ---- some of this old film may otherwise be lost. This treasure has been transfered to digital video in the Cinemakramp loungeroom or at the Film-Plus Australia Lab, located St Kilda Junction, Melbourne.-------------------- ----------
I have some seminal Australian live gigs here as well ; -) ... from The wicked Blues Gangsta hisself ', Dutch Tilders - to Fitzroy's indiginous teenage No-Fi duo, 'Dix' pluggin in their amps in 2005 for only their 3rd gig: ....................As a Super-8 filmmaker I made close to 40 Super-8 films between 1988 and 2001 and was fortunate to have screenings at European and Asian Film Festivals. I have two videos (film to digital transfers) in the ACMI, [Australian Centre for the Moving Image] permanent collection.
