Cinema Eulogies is a horror-based review site focusing mainly on underground and independent films. We cover anything from the obscure to the exploited, the extreme to the mainstream, and everything in between -- basically every genre of horror out there.

It wasn't until recently that we really progressed. Instead of just written material, we are now doing on location reviews, interviews and on set walk-throughs; debates, horror news, and much more on film. We have compiled all of this material together to create what we like to call "Cinema Eulogies Webisodes." They air one or two times a month and can be viewed by everyone for free.

Cinema Eulogies was started for horror fans, by horror fans. It was not started because we were good writers with nothing better to do, and it definitely wasn't started to make money. The intention of Cinema Eulogies is to get the truth out there. If a movie sucks, we're not going to fiddle with words so we don't hurt anybody's feelings -- we're going to tell you it sucked.

We started Cinema Eulogies because we were fed up with reading reviews from people who played around with words to ensure they didn't insult anybody. We were sick of seeing reviews of high budget horror films that everybody knew about and millions of others already covered. Don't get the wrong idea, there are plenty of worthy theatrical releases, but that isn't all that's out there.

We want to let horror fans know that there is a great deal of talent in the underground and independent film community that, for the most part, is not only more original, but better quality than anything you'd see in the theater these days. We want to let you know about the stuff that other horror companies aren't letting you know about because they are too busy covering the most mainstream of films to assure themselves that they will get noticed by horror fans. What they don't know is that great horror doesn't come from a big budget and a theatrical release -- it comes from the great fans that care so much about the genre they want to contribute to it, and that's what Cinema Eulogies is made of.
