First thing, I am a Christian. To the people who dont know Him, i am praying for you. The Lord is amazing! He never fails you. Second thing, i am terribly blessed. Even through everything i have been through all my life, i havent given up because i know God is with me the whole way.
A little over a year ago, my girlfriend Annie told me i was going to be a dad. Right then and there my legs became weak and i felt like the whole world was crashing down on my shoulders...Did i mention i was only 17 at the time?... I didnt know what we were going to do. About the same time, i found out my moms cancer came back. You can only imagine what i was feeling. We came to the decision that we were going to keep the baby. I didnt have the courage to tell my mom while she was having enough trouble of her own, so me and Annie waited until my mom was out of the hospital to tell her "the news". Lets just say she wasnt too excited about it, but she wasnt mad.
A couple months ago on November 1, my mom passed away. Only a few weeks later, my baby girl was born. Lauren Nicole. My mom never got to hold her.
Even through that, all of that that i just poured out to you, was the worst and best thing that has ever happened to me. I miss my mom terribly! But having a family is the best thing to ever happen to me. I Love Annie with all of my heart and i thank God everynight for putting her in my life to help me through the pain. She is my everything and together we are raising our daughter the best way we know how. Maybe we started early, but to me now, it didnt come soon enough. The main part to all of this is God. I can only thank Him. Get to know Him :) I Love You Annie babe, your my everything! And I Love You Lauren, you dont know how proud i am to call myself your daddy.
