About Chronique Couture
Trés Chic for the Chronically Unique or Chronique, if you will!
So many of us have a chronic illness or condition such as Lupus, Chronic Fatigue, Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia,
Diabetes, Parkinson's, Asthma, Arthritis, Cancer, Osteoporosis, Raynaud's, Crohn's Disease/Ulcerative Colitis, IBS, Bi-Polar Disorder and many more that threaten to steal our girly-girl-ness right when we are in the prime of life.
Well, Chronique Couture has been established to fight the chronic,
turning all that is clinical into Chronically Unique or a Chronique head turner!
I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis June 16, 2006. I began treatment with one of the self injectable disease modifying drugs for MS in September of
2006. My feet get cold, my neck gets stiff, my muscles ache & so on. I purchased various items out of a desire to stay comfortable or out of necessity and came to one conclusion quite promptly: For the most part, it's all
UGLY! Ugly, clinical in appearance and things I would more expect to see around a nursing home than in the home or apartment of a 34-year-old woman!
So, Chronique Couture asks the questions:
Do all walker bags have to be ho-hum? Do all canes have to look like your grandmother's?
Should we have to settle for an "emergency red" Sharps container to dispose of needles that is an eye sore & a constant reminder of our injections & disability? Does the parafenalia we carry or use daily have to look like it was issued at a hospital or clinic?
Our conclusion:
No! No we don't, no we shouldn't & NO WE WON'T! We have many other hip & fun products for the girly girls. Clothing, accessories, gifts, bath & body & so much more!
Chronique Couture has also set up a Chronique Community as a hang out for the Chronically Unique! We offer Cafe Chronique, a top quality message board powered by vbulletin. Also check out the ChroniBlog for updates, info and other fun topics.
I consider it a true gift to be able to spread a little joy through having set up, with my partners Allyson & Lisa our Chronique community. Knowing people are smiling when just browsing our site puts a smile our faces that can't be wiped away!
