I remember this is when black women were doing there thing on TV back then...we had claire huxtable on cosby, sandra on 227, dianne carroll on dynasty, and holly robinson on 21 jump street...finally some BEAUTIFUL, INTELLIGENT, CLASSY black women on TV....those were the days.

I wish all artists during their first album and shows like American Idol required contestants to write at least one song and also sing an acapella song with no background accompaniment...just a microphone with no dancing and outrageous clothes...I wonder how many of them could do that. I remember watching this on tv back in '03 and when MJ came out there I was screaming like a little girl (just like I did when I saw him in concert in 1988) and my husband asked why I didn't scream like that for him and i said "you ain't no Michael Jackson!!!"
