This was Bobby Bare's last big hit. "Numbers" hit number 12 in Billboard in the spring of 1980.

"A Lover's Question" hit number three for a couple of weeks in the spring of 1978.

He also wrote a tune called "Blind Man In The Bleachers", a number two hit for Kenny Starr in 1975, I think that was the year.

"I Am The Dreamer (You Are the Dream)" was the B-side to Conway's number one single, "Rest Your Love On Me". Both sides hit number one in Billboard, 5-2-81.

"New Shade Of Blue" peaked at number two for 2 weeks, 11/12/88, behind Rosanne Cash's "Runaway Train" and Ricky Van Shelton's "I'll Leave This World Loving You".

"Missin' You" peaked at number two for three weeks behind Kenny Rogers' "Coward of the County" beginning 1/5/80.

"Two Dozen Roses" hit number one on the Billboard Country Singles chart the week of 12/16/89.

Their biggest hit, "Golden Tears" hit number one for three weeks in March, 1979.

"After The Lovin'" peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in late 1976. Several weeks later it reached number 40 on the magazine's country list.

I also love the Conway/Loretta reference in this song. Awesome!!!

"Mean" peaked at number two in Billboard, 6/25/11 for three weeks behind Blake Shelton's "Honey Bee".

"Right Where I Need To Be" hit number five, 6/2/01 and was on the chart for 48 weeks.

"Love Like Crazy" peaked at number three in Billboard, 9/18/10 in its 55th charted week, fell to number eight then fell of the chart with 56 weeks logged, the longest chart run in Billboard Country chart history.

"Tonight I Wanna Cry" swiped the number two position on the Billboard Country Singles Chart the week of 4/8/06 behind Rascal Flatts' "What Hurts The Most".

"Boots On" peaked at number two in Billboard, 9/12/09 behind Jason Aldean's "Big Green Tractor".

"She Thinks That She'll Marry" peaked at number nine in early January of 1987.

I remember this song so vividly when I came out in '86. Had such a sweet innocence to it. Her only number one single as a recording artist. She wrote Leann Rimes 1996 number one "One Way Ticket". Way too underestimated!!!

"Consider Me Gone" hit number one in Billboard magazine for four weeks starting 1/2/10. It became her 34th number one single and, ironically, her biggest chart single to date. WOW!

"I Wanna Make You Close Your Eyes" peaked at number two on the Billboard Country Singles Chart for 2 weeks starting 1/23/10 behind Reba McEntire's "Consider Me Gone" and Tim McGraw's "Southern Voice".

"A Little More Country Than That" hit number one in Billboard 4/10/10 in its 32nd charted week.

"Who Needs Pictures" was Brad Paisley's debut single and peaked at number 12 in the fall of 1999.

"Convoy" hit number one for six weeks on the Billboard Country Singles Chart 11/29/75 in its fourth charted week. It also topped the Hot 100 in January of 1976.

"More Than A Memory" made Billboard history by debuting at number one in September of 2007.

"Don't Blink" debuted in Billboard at number 16, which was the highest debuting country single in history. This record lasted only two weeks when Garth Brooks debuted at number one with "More Than A Memory".

"Ladies Love Country Boys" hit number one for two weeks starting 3/10/07.

Another one of life's little mysteries. Only reached number 15??! This song deserved a higher chart position. This is one of my favorite Steve Wariner tunes!

"Makin' Believe" spent 15 weeks at number two in 1955 for Kitty Wells, the most weeks ever in the runner up slot, a record that still stands today.

Never could understand why "Taking Somebody" failed to even reach the Top Ten. Amazing song. Larry Gatlin wrote this among all 35 of their chart records.

"'I Just Want To Love You" peaked at number one in 1978. Believe it was the first number one country single to feature syn-drums. Cool song!

@KSMusicGeeks - I recall when Billboard revamped its country singles chart on 1/20/90 from 100 to 75 positions, this song zipped from number six to number two, but featured a "peak" at number one in the "last week" column. Was always confused by that. Should have been billed a number one single, ...

"I Feel Like Loving You Again" hit number one for T.G. 1/31/81.

Razzy hit number one 2/14/81. The B side, "True Life Country Music" accompanied it. Someone please post that song too!!!

"Find Out Who Your Friends Are" hit number one on 6/23/07 in its 41st charted week. Temporary record for the slowest climb to number one, later upstaged by Chris Young's "Voices" (51st week).
