Yes, long ago, me and some of my sidekicks put on a good show. Slick, impressive tricks we had! Stretchin' out a few loaves and coupla fish to feed 5000 rowdy spectators....well, that one was blown all outta proportion. Some of the other stuff was a bit exaggerated, too. All the hoopla along with some genuinely clever magic tricks led to a helluva reputation, gave me a wonderful fan base in the middle east (no easy crowd to please).

Was a pretty sweet gig while it lasted. But them days are over, friends and neighbors. These days we got things like 'lectricity, flushing toilets, ESPN...do we really need to waste our intellectual energies on fantasy?

Time to put away the bible and use our intelligence to decide what's right or wrong. No work of fiction can take the place of the conscience...One's conscience and common sense should take authority over fear, certainly over a fairy tale!
