BIO

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Christie Miro started working as an actor in the last season of hit local sitcom for Telemundo, P.R. "La Pension de Dona Tere". After landing recurring roles in different Telemundo sitcoms like: "Mi Familia", she became a member of theatre companies such as Puro Teatro Company and JC Drama Company landing roles like Helena in "A Midsummer Night`s Dream". Quickly after she went to Mexico to keep improving her craft focusing on acting for film, television and soaps.

Throughout her young career she has been the principle talent and image in commercials, print and voice for important companies and well know brands, also landed recurring roles in sitcoms and hosted tv shows: "Xpresion" and "Expresate" for PBS, P.R.
In professional theater she has performed in "Actrices (E.R.)" and "Vidas en Rosa"; and also in "Amor en el Caserio", "La Cigüeña va la Escuela" and "Bailando al Son(Corillo)", directed by playwright Carlos Ferrari. She also starred in the movie "Tainos" and "Pasaporte a la Fama", and on more than 8 movies for television, such as: "Las Infieles", "La Ultima Noche", "La Cocina", among others, and in various indie short films, while complementing her Communications Degree in University of Puerto Rico with Drama, and continued her training off-college as well, with acting classes and dance.

Theater, television and film actress, Christie recently moved to the Sunshine state to continue expanding her horizons in acting, already booking principal roles in various commercials and tv hosting jobs. Find me on Facebook!
