Biography:
18-year-old Christina Wynans is an aspiring singer/songwriter from Port Alberni, BC. Her musical background started early, at the age of 3, when her parents enrolled her in piano lessons after seeing how drawn she was to music. Her love only progressed from there, and it soon became the passion that drove her forwards in life.

Christina has performed at many local events put on by various organizations in her hometown, including the Alberni District Fall Fair, the Rotary Club of Port Alberni, and the Port Alberni Salmon Festival. She also does a lot of volunteer work throughout her community. For the past four seasons, she has volunteered as a national anthem singer at the Alberni Valley Bulldogs hockey games, and has also volunteered as a performer for numerous Variety Club Fundraisers.

While attending Alberni District Secondary School, Christina competed with various vocal and instrumental ensembles on the national and international level. She was also accepted to partake in the BC Music Educators Association Honour Vocal Jazz Ensemble for three consecutive years. She was a part of the ADSS production of "Chicago," as well as the production of "The Rocky Horror Show," put on by Portal Players. On top of all of this, Christina remained on the principal's roll with a 95% average for her entire high school career.

Christina is currently studying music at York University in Toronto, Ontario, and is one of the newest members of York University's resident a cappella group, WIBI.
