Hey YouTube! My name is Christen Sawyer & I'm a singer/songwriter from Houston, Texas. In the past few years I released 3 singles from my first CD & 2 of them (Crazy & One Too Many) made the top 20 on the Texas Charts. Now I'm focused on writing new material & touring regionally.
YouTube is probably my favorite social media outlet. I've been putting videos up on this channel since I was 16 and have had great responses from my friends on here. Your comments have kept me singing & writing and I can't thank you enough!
A little about me & my songwriting:
Each song I write has a very personal story attached: an old flame, a tough week, a friend's hardship, or a random thought that sparked something creative. I love all different types of music from classic rock to indie to pop country, so a lot of times my style will vary from one song to the next. I hope to take a little something from each song I listen to! I've also written HUNDREDS of "half-songs" that I swear I'll finish someday!
