@thejokerslastlaugh-but Joel Grey's Emcee was not the original, so theatrical versions that we are seeing are not a new interpretation of the cinematic performance. The movie was a *slightly* more socially acceptable version. The theatrical version is more raw, shocking...not pretty. Not really ...
