	3 Answers for an Athiest - from a Christian "i refuse to be a part of something which has been the cause of more deaths than any weapon man has made." Weapons don't cause deaths, people do. If I shoot somebody with a gun, no judge would let me walk away if I tried to blame the gun. Similarly, religion doesn't cause deaths, people do. It just happens to be a popular tool or excuse for sinful humans to use. If religion didn't exist, there would still be death - just a different tool. Stalin, Mao, and many others have shown us this. 	"So many cultures have existed with morals and social order without the bible." But I didn't say that the Bible gives us morality. I said God created us with morality and we have since chosen to manipulate that morality by choosing what is right for US instead of what is JUST right. The Bible holds record of the morals we were created with so we can see how sinful we are (and for many other purposes). So while people certainly are moral in many ways, we are also very immoral in many ways. (5 days ago)
	A Christian Appeal - "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed" lol - different strokes for different folks. I'll see about adding more fire and flavor to the videos... but sometimes I think certain issues should be approached in a delicate way. Being mocked shouldn't be a concern. 	Morals, Atheists, and Everyone Else (continued) You make it sound like your opening question is a point no Christian has considered. And that makes you sound a little unresearched... as though perhaps you don't really want a response in the first place. After all, a lot of people have gone there, but... Maybe you want to keep pretending you've had the final word and there's nothing else to say? I don't know. You tell me. Don't you think your comment is a textbook display of pride and arrogance? 	I don't understand... I'm "missing out on life" because I'm not living like you? Or, what exactly do you mean? Why do you make the assumption that the existance of God is a delusion? How do you know? Why draw that conclusion? Why would you assume that having a delusion somehow stops a person from living life fully? Why would you presume to know more about my life than I do? Just thought you might find it interesting to note that the traditional Jewish understanding of "holy spirit" is that it's a term in reference the state of mediation between the Almighty and man via an angel.... (all prophecy is by means of an angel). This type of mediation that I'm speaking of is from the Creator to us... wherein the Creator expresses Himself to us by means of other created things.... and not a reference to mediation where there is communication on our part towards the Creator -- b/c He is sufficient in knowledge by Himself, without need for a mediator. How do you understand the holy spirit being a mediator if there is only one mediator - the man Jes*us?
