Thank you. Sadly I have encountered a lot of Germanic/English racists and even more Celtic racists (like our friend Cranyonry). Respect and liking your own ethnicity is OK as long as it doesn't shut you of from the beauty of other ethnicities and cultures. I am ethnically English but I love the culture of South Asia and I am infact a Germano-Buddhist because I believe in the Germanic gods yet also believe in the enlightenment of the Buddha; much like the Japanese believe in their kami and the Buddha.

I don't know, I see no point in drooling over genetics and jingoism and blinding yourself from the beauty present in the world.

I think people need to learn that English pride has nothing to do with racism (you can be English regardless of skin colour; one of the most pro-English people I met was of Chinese heritage) and certainly nothing to do with British/UK jingoism. I think the UK, like the British empire, is fundamentally evil and I laugh when Scots and Welsh ''racists'' claim that England owns the UK when we don't even official exist anymore! Look at the advert for Co-Op, the food from places in Scotland has a big Scottish flag and the food from England has a British flag! If Scotland and Wales are oppressed by Britain so are we! Infact ''Briton'' was a term simple for the ''Welsh'' tribes and not the English tribes and we don't even have a parliament.

Sorry for venting but everyday British jingoism is pounded into my head from the papers and TV. You would think that the British Empire has not died and that we are going to war with another country!
