Yes I saw Mike in the UK in c.1987. We all thought him very dapper in his crew cut and dark suit. I bought the tape and learned Bless the Lord on piano ... I could just about play it ... a happy memory.

It's like watching a masterclass in techniques and power. I took a lesson with Lloyd a couple of years ago and he doubled my left hand volume in about 30 minutes and I'd been playing for 30 years ! My students love his visits - he's such a gifted educator.

Skelter didn't make a killing, he made a HUGE loss with that night. It's blatantly mentioned on quite a few of the sets as well, and didn't sell enough tickets to cover both Rollers & Sanctuary so hence why everyone got crammed into there. Shame, but think this was the millennium. People wouldn't...
