What an amazing man you are! I, too, saw the documentary on Animal Planet, and have your book. I'm utterly impressed and in awe of you, Chris. It's been one of my biggest dreams to start and run an elephant sanctuary one day, and stories like yours sing to my soul. Your journey, your life and your relationship with elephants is undeniable inspiration. I would be honored to meet you some day, and hope that one day I might get the chance. Congratulations on leading a fine life - I can only hope to emulate one day...
Very truly yours, Lindsey |

Watched the documentary on the Animal Planet. Much needed content for todays "sensationalized Media". A compelling story of trust, dedication, determination, diciplin, and moreover, the willingness to accept that, what you found may not necessarily be what you were looking for... but what you needed and what needed you, accepting your destiny. A story of courage, self discovery, friendship and loyalty. Your words on the homepage of your site are quite profound...A man who can say what you can say, has earned the most prestigeous award mankind can offer.... HONOR. I respect an honorable man. "G"

In looking at the documentary, I was struck by Gallucci's screen presence. Had he worked at it, he could have been a pretty good actor, with or without his animal friends.

I Watched the animal planet and came across a show that had my two favorite things - large wild animals and Harley's (my first bike was a Harley - nothing else would do). So glad I came across the show, you're an amazing person and the story of you and Timbo touched my heart. I was sadden to hear at the end of Timbo's passing, it's hard enough losing a pet after 10 years let alone your best friend after 30. Hopefully another elephant will have the good fortune of being in your company.
I would love to visit Shambala one day - it's good to know animals are safe and treated with respect and care. All the best to you. |

I saw it also and what an incredible journey life has given him! I don't think I have ever been so touched to the core of my being when I saw their story. I can't imagine the pain when he lost Timbo. I don't think anyone could understand the pain...ever. I hope he continues the life work of educating the world about these wonderful animals and how incredible they are! I loved the story and hope to get to Shambala one day and spend the 3 hours on the safaris they give! Chris is unbelievable and his philosophy is life lessons learned. One cannot get the knowledge he has thru books!!! Good luck to him.

SAW YOU ON THE "TUBE" last night
... Dear Chris, Get ready... I have a feeling a lot of people need to connect with you and understand the way you have lived your life, to understand the path of freedom and the selfless act of love that created bondage for you in this physical life for so many years. People are confused and lost more than ever in these remaining years of the old 3 D paradigm. I watched your film last night (cuz I couldn't sleep) on the Animal Planet and I just wanted to say you've touched my heart. You may or may not remember that in past lives you were an enlightened soul living in India. Much love, blessings and gratitude for your actions of pure love. I am deeply touched Leela |
