I don't normally subscribe to TV's Weekend Sunrise show hosted by Andrew O'Keefe & Samantha Armytage, but 'stumbled' upon the channel's 'Masters of Spin' live editorial on our PM & Opposition Leader getting extracted from a Canberra restaurant on Australia Day. OMG! The two invited "experts" giving their "point-of-views". Some part time ex 'gruen transfer'er' & one full time host of one of Sydney's leading marketing & media blogs that has something to do with umbrellas! They just talked & yelled over each other, while Samantha Armytage (& Andrew O'Keefe) seemed the only ones offering useful social media comment. No wonder thousands of professionals take overseas advice on how to be media relevant! Give me Samantha Armytage's soothing & calm intelligence any day over "jumpy guys, pouring their guts & interrupting each other about how to engage with communities or spin".

Happy Australia Day last Jan 26, 2012! The passion & diversity of our country always drives me. Geoffrey Rush was deserving of Australian of the Year. Not to be confused with his Oscar or glittering film prizes! He is, indeed, a superb actor, but this honour is more for his mentoring of many, many unknown young actors. A lot who will not remain unknown due to opportunities Geoffrey's training gave them & that this creative nation offers all genuine, humble & true artists ^_^
