The guy who steals the money does it for monetary gain. The guy who kills a bunch of people and saves their bodies in his freezer for later consumption does it because he is sick. The CEO may steal from faceless employees but he wouldnt mug a man on the street or stab you 100 times to get a hard on. thats the difference.

I think we as a society should be able to remove someone who is to dangerous to EVER be allowed back into society. Not as any form of revenge but simply for the sake of safety. Though it may be better for us to keep these people alive and try to learn more about whats wrong with them.
