I love writing lyrics and singing them! Unfortunately, my musical challenges prevent me from creating my own instrumentals. So I choose from what's out there. My selection criteria include reasonable key for my voice (um...trying), not overly known melodies whose moods match my message, their availability as instrumentals, which must have minimal backing vocals if any and mustn't sound like I played it myself (!). Obviously, these criteria didn't apply much to my first uploads (the wigged ones) and can't always be reconciled.
I've never had the space (i.e. house) to practice singing, which I've longed for since childhood. So, the times of me recording for my uploads are the only times I sing full-force, karaoke aside! But one day, I hope to be able to make as much noise as I want in my own place, and perhaps properly learn an instrument and singing.
