Born and raised in Mattapan, an urban section of Boston, MA, Charles "Yung Chizz" Rezil aquired a passion for hip hop music at a very young age. From hearing his first Notorious B.I.G. track, Gimme the Loot, he was addicted to rap music then on. The streets that he played on as a child then ran on as an adolescent molded his mind into a canvas that has eager to be painted on. As a scholar, Yung Chizz uses his extended vocabulary to capture street life, contemporary topics, violence, drugs, and everything that surrounds him. His complex metaphors and unstable yet witty lyrics backed by his unique flow on a beat makes him sound more like a conscience poet rather than a conscience rapper. However, this is exactly what Yung Chizz is intending to bring to the rap game. Yung Chizz's past experiences and growin up in Mattapan's environment allows him to explore the worlds of poetry, drugs, violence, and sex all in one. In a desperate attempt for east coast rappers to bring the east-coast back from a unsuspected slumber, Yung Chizz is also carrying Boston [One of the most frowned upon Hip Hop breeding grounds] on his back as one of the youngest and most talented rappers that Boston has ever bred. Yung Chizz is currently doing a lot of features on CW [Concealed Weapons] artists's tracks such as Nar-C and Compacity and is soon to begin his solo project titled "The Don Carlito." The young rapper says "I feel like a lot of young rappers dont have a theme and persona that they live by. Don Carlito will be my persona; An organized crime figure with swag and style." He plans to create a new style of hip-hop that will hopefully shock the world and put Boston on the map. This 19 year old rapper has just begun his quest for greatness and world-wide domination.
