It baffles me that the same people that herald the United States's status as the greatest nation in the world and believe that it is America's moral responsibility to bring our enlightened ideals to other nations argue, at the same time, that we should give up our right to make our own judgements and decisions to international organizations like NATO, the UN, & NAFTA.
