Anti-Semitism is a disease. Ignorance, fear, envy, malevolence, and, above all, misinformation are the causes. In the spirit of the great Simon Wiesenthal, I pledge to root out anti-Semitism, racism and neo-Nazi sentiments wherever I find them on YouTube. Too cowardly to promulgate his sick messages in person (to the faces of those he maligns), the virtual hatemonger has no recourse but to violate YouTube's Terms of Use and disseminate his ludicrous garbage on this and similar online fora. Think I'm suppressing your freedom of speech? By all means, leave your parents' basement, and declare publicly what you so nonchalantly peddle in anonymity from the comfort of your keyboard. Oh wait, let me guess: "the Jews" are keeping you down! The average racist is a pathetic, faceless cretin.

I believe in the fundamental dignity and potential of every human being, whether black or white, Jewish or Muslim, gay or straight, Catholic or Protestant, liberal or conservative. Even the most vile racist can reform himself with the necessary will power and introspection. Let us celebrate our differences but embrace our common humanity.
