About this user
Han Chinese. Male. Shaolin Warrior disciple. skilled in kung fu, close quarter combat and weaponry. martial arts is a big part of my life.Born in hong kong. At the age of 8, me and my brother immigrated to mainland china where i became a student at the Song Shan shaolin temple near Zheng zou and dengfeng in the heinan province, the capital of martial arts in china. we spent 3 years of extremely harsh shaolin kung fu training and studied its philosophy. my brother went to another school and I was very lonely without him. nearly 4 years later us and the family then moved to England. it was a hard time settling in since i dont know english but i got through it, now i have many friends. :)
3 years training wasnt enough!
shaolin
shaolin is well famous for for 2 things: its martial arts and is religious zen buddism. it is the ancestor of most martial arts in the world.
shaolin destruction
during the qing dynasty the corrupted ordered a massacre of all martial practioners. he used everything in his power to abolish kung fu. this eventually lead the destruction of shaolin.. books and manuscripts were burnt. superior fighting forms, advanced techniques and knowledge were lost. thousends die, only 5 shaolin monks survived but these were no masters, they were young. from this they rebuilt the shaolin temple but it will never be the same again.
my times in shaolin
BEYOND PAIN, TORTURE, BRUTAL. nothing compares to shaolin training.you will be disciplined. my time at shaolin always started with a run up the mountains. I'd been doing this grueling run everyday, but it still didn't feel easy, and it was especially hard in the winter. Even temerature well below minis, our masters only let us wear the same thin clothes everyday. They told us if we were cold it was our fault we weren't training hard enough. they show absolute no mercy.
my days in shaolin I always had a doubt in my mind that I wouldn't be able to reach my target. i was falling hard, i was fighting myself and failing to complete tasks.as the rain came i fell down hard but too many when i fell down a feeling of confidence rose inside me. a dragon was born inside. i stood up at that point i learnt not fight yourself. you fight youself because you cant do it but what it really means your giving up, you choose to fail. the hardest part was over, new challenges awaits. my anger at my masters turned to gratitude. They knew I could do it, they expected more from me than I did from myself, it was my own mind which was setting my limitations, not my body. the body is just a tool. the mind uses that tool. the mind makes up the bodies limits but that limit could be any height which you will choose how high.
My favourite actors are Jackie Chan, donnie yen, bruce lee and Jet Li because im a HUGE fan . l love it when they fight in the movies. , R.I.P BRUCE LEE a dragon was born and died a legend. legends die hard. but will be forever remebered. to live forever in our memories and our hearts
