@1100HondaCB these bikes are supposed to have the valve clearances checked at regular intervals ( 5000km I think ).. but I doubt that gets done since the rocker cover is hard to get at and you have to use different thickness shims to get the clearances right. @www16vzeteccom my speedo on a 97 ZZR is 5% inaccurate when checked by a GPS. Confirmed by going through many radars unbooked at the GPS speed. MY ZZR will do 270kph flat with a headwind. That's 161.5mph when you correct everything out an say GPS ia about a s accurate as you can get. Bloody imp...

@steller2000 it pulsates because its a very highly tuned engine. able to drag off a 929 Fireblade, the ZZR is cammed up with high compression. Make sure you use 98 RON petrol in one of these. 100hp from a carby 600cc engine is insane.. and yet mines done 103,000km and still runs hard and clean.

got a 97 ZZR. 0-200 is still awesome. I tune it myself and at 103,000km I can't find a reason to rebuild it yet. i'm a big bugger at 6'2" but she serves me well. After Yamaha's and Suzies, this is the bike I fell in love with. Rear tyres go pretty fast, but that might be the way I ride eh. To...

@22kawa on a bike you must do all deceleration before bends. Control through and out of the bend is achieved by accelerating. try it yourself, the bike feels like it's on rails while accelerating. Just be gentle with the throttle on bikes 100hp and up eh
