Ironically, Tom sang this song at Lincoln Center at a public concert while the Deutsche Bank Building near the World Trade Center was burning. It's absolutely uncanny. The song certainly deserved more coverage than it received.
This is very true to life like Liz's other songs. I love the down to earth everyday details which paint a very real picture of the way many men express their affection. The portrait also reminds me of grandma Tanya who expressed her love by cooking for people.
