@KnuckleheadGraphics Perhaps too late, but the reason the strut is at a 60 degree angle is because it's a safety feature. In the event of a fire in the parts washer, the strut has a high-temp fuse which shuts the lid shut, putting out the fire.
@TutorialTipCom Subframes are small, try full frames or roll cages. Can all be done at home with IR lamps if you are sufficiently motivated and have the money!
