Final Fantasy XIII-2 Soundtrack - Sunleth Waterscape
LYRICS
Losing ground, losing myself, darkness comes alive I find myself at my end, in daytime I hold on With the leaves, I keep squirming 'round, around, around Mark and make me feel alive New feeling, a new place of starting over, over, over

Some things to know going into this video:
- Rarity is best pony. Full stop. - "Art of the Dress" is best song. - Jazz is best genre, in whatever form.
Seriously though, I had a feeling you lot would enjoy the new jazzy sounds I am working with, but I wasn't expecting that much of a response. It appears the pony paucity of pony jazz has left you with a hankering for more. Well then, I'm happy to oblige!
"Old Hat, New Manehattan," was sort of the trial run to test the waters, in retrospect; now for the more ambitious stuff, heh. I have been interested in doing my own version of "Art of the Dress" since I originally heard it some months ago but, with the exception of that piano trio, I lacked the means to do precisely what I wanted. Thank goodness for new mixing toys for Christmas!
Musically what we have are the first three strains of Rarity's song, fully re-realized, reharmonized and "Jazzified," complete with extended solos from the saxes, trumpet and piano. At 2:35, the tempo drops back, the saxes jam out, and the drums rock on. Dubstep, eat your heart out. I did my best to make a cohesive song as apposed to the snippet-based effort of "Manehattan."
This week, we have featured artwork by:

MegaSweet - http://megasweet.deviantart.com/galle...
Please enjoy "Art of the Groove"!
