@MEGGAJJ2010 I certainly don't want to annoy you mate. You are entitled to your views, so am I. As the 'training'methods and living conditions for circus elephants, lions etc are basically the same now as they were in the 1930s, I don't quite follow yr logic there (maybe I am missing something....

Please boycott this film. The elephant went through torture during so called 'training'.

@Dappycow Totally agree - it was a magical time to be young and part of it all. For it to remain so vivid in our memories 40 years on, that says it all. Like you, I still search the pics of the crowds sometimes, looking for me and my friends, so far haven't spotted us though! We were camped up...
