Hey! My name is Cheyenne Roberts and I am 18 yrs. old. I have been writing songs since I was 13 yrs. old and LOVE every bit of it! And yes I do write every one of my songs. Writing and playing music is my favorite hobby besides serving God. I have played music my whole life and my family also plays. My dad has converted our garage into a studio, so that's where we do our recording and jamming. My whole family can pretty much play any instrument, so if u ever come over and want us to cover a song chances are we can probably cover it. lol. We have currently put a band together called Band of Love. I enjoy it very very much! I look forward to practice every week. My brother is 16 and is an AWESOME guitar player. He plays alot of covers by Van Halen, Led Zepplin, Rush, Jimi Hendrix, Steve Vai, Reb Beach, really pretty much anything. Anyways u probably dont care about that. I LOVE Classic Rock! Some of my favorite band/artists are The Beatles, Supertramp, Carly Simon, Carole King, Elton John, Aerosmith,Van Halen, Led Zepplin, Rush, Hendrix, pretty much anything that is considered old. Haha. If u have not heard of any of these bands, PLEASE go look them up. This music will change ur taste and views about music FOREVER! I am not really a big fan of todays music, but I will do a few covers for your enjoyment. I mainly like to focus on my original songs. I dont really consider myself a cover artist. I am constantly trying to out write myself ( if that makes any sense.) Each time I write a song I want it to top the last one I wrote. As far as my style goes in writing I am shooting for an older, 70s sound. But honestly I'll play anything that I consider a good song. I would have to say one of my biggest pet peeves is seeing people play music just so they can make it. That drives me crazy! And believe u can tell when a person is in it for the fame. I believe a person should play music because they just love it and making it is just a buy product of something u love to do. As for my future, I look at it this way if the Lord wants me to have it, then he'll provide it for me. Other than that I could care less about it. Some of the best times I have playing music are going in my room and and just jamming around and writing songs. Lastly I am a Christian and I love serving God. I am very thankful for all the gifts and talent that he has blessed me with! Well that's pretty much it. Thanks for reading!
