@triplexxxsatyr The SR concept was never even meant to make it into production, and if it had, there would have to be major reconstruction, ruining what really looked cool and different about it.

Chevy can easily make this into a street production car with minimal changes to the exterior, however.

@JackDePancake Volt now starts at just under $40k after rebates. Consider looking at a Cruze Eco. The volt is based off the cruze, but the cruze is just all gasoline powered with 42mpg.

The interior was considered good quality for Small segment cars in 2005. Times have changed and the Cobalt has been replaced by the Cruze which has a much better quality interior.
