The fact is with as stacked a roster as TNA has they should be beating ECW on a weekly basis, easily, as well as taking it to Smackdown. From a ppv standpoint they should be avg. at least 100,000 buys per show. There is no good reason TNA ppvs should lose out to December 2 Dismember, a ppv that truly defines the term "throwaway ppv". As WWE didn't bother booking it or promoting it. Yet it got 90,000 buys, which still beats any buyrate TNA has had to date.
When's the cutoff date? By that I mean, when can we start holding TNA accountable for their shortcomings? Are we looking at another 5 years, 10 years, 25years...what?
TNA will always be younger than the WWE, but you can't always use that as an excuse to defend TNA. TNA isn't living up to the expectations of a company having such a stacked a roster as they do. Many professional-wrestling companies in the last two decades could only dream of having such a roster including WWE.
Phenom vs. Showstopper Match: The UnderTaker vs. HBK
WWE Championship Match: John Cena(c) vs. CM Punk (whose cashing in his MITB briefcase)
World Heavyweight Championship -Triple Threat Elimination Match: Jeff Hardy(c) vs. Edge vs. Matt Hardy(Talent exchange)
Stone Cold's Last Hurrah/ No Holds Bared match: Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Triple H
ECW Championship Match: John Morrison(c) vs. Evan Bourne aka Matt Sydal
Those are some of my thoughts on what WM XXV could look like next year.
US Title Match: Matt Hardy(c) vs. Rey Mysterio( who is returning)
World Tag Title Match: Hardcore Holly/Cody Rhodes(c) vs. D.H. Smith/Ted Dibiase Jr. with Ted Dibiase Sr.
WWE Tag Title Match: John Morrison/The Miz(c) vs. Paul London/Brian Kendrick
Four-Way Elimination Match for the Women's Title: Mickie James(c) vs. Katie Lea Burchill vs. Melina vs. Beth Phoenix
And that would be my lineup for NoC.
WWE Title Match: Triple H(c) vs. JBL (he screws Cena out of his title shot)
World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat Match: Edge(c) vs. Batista vs. The Big Show( who came over from ECW and b/c he won the #1 contendership match at ONS for a world title shot he's able to be in this match)
ECW World Title: Kane(c) vs. Jeff Hardy ( Hardy is Show's replacement in this match. GM Long decides to have the brands #1 draft pick challenge the Big Red Machine. Also, CM Punk is at ringside with his MITB briefcase ready to challenge the winner of the match)
