I've had Locs for 7 years now and I'm happy to answer any questions you might have about the process and offer hairstyling tips for ladies and gents with locs!

1. What do you use to film your videos?
I just got a Cannon T3i and I love it! I also have an HD mino Flip camera for vloggng on the road

2. What do you edit your videos with?
I use Adobe After Effects and/or iMovie 11

3. How long have you had locs?
I started my locs in February 2004. So it'll be 8 years this coming February.

4. How did you start your locs?
A family friend started mine with comb coils. But you can also start them with two strand twists, braidlocs, freeform, back combing or loc extensions. Depending on your hair texture there are different options.

5. How many locs do you have?
114

6. Who maintains your locs?
I do! I've never been to a loctician or professional stylist.

7. How often do you maintain your locs?
Usually every 2-3 weeks

8. How do you maintain your locs?
I re-twist my new growth. check out my tutorial video for a step by step of the process!

9. How long does it take hair to loc?
Anywhere from 6 months to a year. Everyone's hair is different

10. What can I do to speed up the locing process?
Nothing. You have to be patient.

11. I hate the short phase! What can I do to make my hair grow faster?
Get extensions or wait it out. There's no secret formula for hair growth.
