I get a ton of questions regarding my hair and my videos, so I decided to create a FAQ to help you and me!

1. How long have you had locs?
I started my locs February 2004

2. How did you start your locs?
A close family friend of mine with locs, started my hair with comb coil twists. Check out my happy birthday hair video for a time line of the first 4 years of my locs

3. How many locs do you have?
Last time I counted, about 114. I used to have more but I combined a few in the front.

4. How long did it take your hair to loc?
It took about 6 months. But it can take anywhere from 6 months to a year to fully loc.

5. What products do you use on your hair?
I use Jamacian Mango and Lime to retwist and maintain my roots and I use Mane and Tail Shampoo along with Pink Luster Oil leave in Conditioner

6. Who does your hair?
I've never been to a salon. I've always done my own hair.

7. How often do you retwist your hair?
Usually every 2 to 3 weeks, depending on how lazy I am

8. How do I start locs?
There are a number of ways to start locs, it's really up to you. A few options are comb coils, 2 strand twists, single twists, palm rolls, free form locs, braidlocs the list goes on and on

9. Can you do my hair?
No, sorry, I'm not a professional stylist

10. Help! My hair isn't growing or my locs are breaking off or (insert loc related problem)
Since I'm not a professional stylist I'd suggest you see a professional so they can assist you.

11. I want to dye my locs. How do I start?
If you have black hair, you'll need to bleach your locs first before applying color. Color can be kinda tricky, so the best suggestion is to visit a professional colorist so you don't damage your hair.

12. What do you use to film your videos?
I either use my iMac's built in isight camera or my handheld Cannon FS100

13. What do you edit your videos with?
I use Adobe After Effects and/or iMovie HD

14. Will you marry me?
No, sorry.

15. Do you have a boyfriend?
Yes. We've been together since January 2006 and have lived together since August 2007

16. Are you guys gonna get married? When?!
Yes, we plan on getting married, but not anytime soon. Once we set a date I promise to let you know. :)
