Wij zijn Carlijn en Merle (junior songfestival '09) en wij doen mee aan een wedstrijd van de Cosmogirl om een meet en greet te winnen met Taylor Swift. Het is de bedoeling dat je laat zien hoe fan je van haar bent. We hebben het nummer 'love story' gecoverd en er een eigen tekst op bedacht;

Hello, guys! We have a video here of a performance for the charity Serious Request: "This one is for mama". Our whole country was really busy the week before Christmas with this action as much as possible to raise money for the mothers in war zones. So we sang along during a small concert of "Zanghuis 206" by Esther Polvliet, our singing teacher.
It is to give you an impression of what kind of gigs we do.
The song we sing is called Toxic, original by Britney Spears, but we sing the version of the band Versaemerge. We have only one time practiced with the musicians.

Thank you to the very talented Kurt Wubbenhorst for playing the piano so beautifully and for recording this for me. It's a very simple acoustic cover - just a piano and me singing - and we did the audio live in just one take, with a few takes of video for editing.
